Graduation 2023 Events for Graduate Students
We look forward to celebrating the Columbia Engineering Class of 2023!
Engineering's Class Day ceremony will take place on Monday, May 15th, followed by the University Commencement on Wednesday, May 17th.
ENGINEERING CLASS DAY
A celebration of the accomplishments of all graduates of the Fu Foundations School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.
Monday, May 15th at 12:30 P.M.
South Lawns, Morningside Campus

A University-wide ceremony for all eligible May 2023 degree candidates as well as February 2023 and October 2022 graduates from all schools and colleges affiliated with Columbia University, as well as family and friends.
Wednesday, May 17th, 2022 at 10:30 am.
Morningside Campus
2 tickets per graduate student.
University Commencement Ceremony will be ticketed (graduates and guests). Limit: 1 ticket for a graduate and 2 guest tickets per graduate student. For Class Day events, graduate can purchase tickets via general admission. Additional information about the ceremonies will be shared in the coming weeks - including details about tickets, additional celebrations and more. Please note that due to the large number of attendees, we are unable to provide additional tickets to University Commencement.
Petition to Walk Information
Students who would like to petition to walk in the May 2023 ceremony must submit a Petition to Walk form. There will be more information to come at a later date.
GSAS Convocation
If any Doctor of Philosophy students would like to attend the GSAS Convocation, we will share more information at a later date.
